The Juliusspital is an impressive Baroque building with a castle-like appearance and beautiful parkland. For the past 425 years, a hospital, retirement and nursing home have existed here financed by a charity organisation which manages the surrounding vineyards, farmland and forestry. In the historical cellar under the building visitors are provided with an insight into the oldest, largest and most well known winery in Germany.
